Swimming Coach Trainee (Sponsorship Program)

This is a sponsored program with a contract fulfilment agreement.

Graduate Trainee can expect to be a representative of G.L.T Aquatics swim coaching team. 

Swim instructor is to help children and adults of all ages develop proper swimming techniques and skills. The swim instructor’s responsibilities include evaluating each student’s performance during swim sessions and providing feedback, completing attendance, progress, and accident reports, and ensuring that all swimming aids and equipment are in good working order. You should also be able to assist students with special needs to socialize with other students.

To be successful as a swim instructor, you should demonstrate patience and enthusiasm and be able to motivate students to accomplish their swimming goals. Ultimately, an exceptional swim instructor should be able to communicate effectively with students and ensure that all water safety rules are adhered to.

Swim Instructor Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching swimming techniques, swimming strokes, and water safety rules to students with varying swimming abilities.
  2. Assisting more experienced swimmers to enhance their swimming abilities.
  3. Assessing the progress of students and adjusting teaching programs accordingly.
  4. Monitoring students to prevent accidents and injuries.
  5. Implementing ground rules for each swim session.
  6. Planning swimming lessons that take into account students’ abilities and progressive development.
  7. Identifying incorrect swimming techniques and correcting students accordingly.

Swim Instructor Requirements:

  1. Min GCE 'O' Level.
  2. Prior experience working as an assistant swim instructor or lifeguard are welcome to apply.
  3. CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.
  4. Sound knowledge of proper swimming techniques and water safety rules.
  5. Strong swimming abilities.
  6. Excellent conflict resolution skills.
  7. Effective communication skills.
  8. Passionate and enthusiastic.

Business Development Executives

Job Description:

  1. Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities
  2. Keep prospective client database updated
  3. Make cold calls for new business leads
  4. Support in writing new business proposals
  5. Follow company guidelines and procedures for acquisition of customers, submission of tenders etc.
  6. Management and use of social media channels/marketing tools for recruitment
  7. Full managing of the company’s social media portfolio comprising content marketing for recruitment

Job Requirements:

  1. Possess at least a Diploma in any field
  2. Self-motivated and driven character
  3. Exposure to Sales and Marketing or Recruitment will be an added advantage
  4. Good communication (Verbal & written) and interpersonal skill
  5. Sense of urgency and efficient at work
  6. Hardworking and willing to learn
